This trip to Japan will bring you on an exploration of the highlights of this enigmatic country while taking a step deeper to explore its authentic side. Start off in Tokyo, the frenetic capital where you explore its parks, shrines, temples and various districts before leaving the capital towards Hakone where the highlight is the Owakudani Volcanic Valley, famous for its steam vents, hot springs and spectacular view of Mount Fuji.

After admiring Japan's most famous volcano, head to Kyoto, the city of a thousand temples and gardens, where you visit spectacular sites such as Arashiyama bamboo grove and several UNESCO World Heritage listed sites that will surely make your trip to Japan a memorable one.

Your trip to Japan continues to the magnificent Okayama region where you will stroll along the canals of Kurashiki and its magnificent historic center, before discovering the island of Naoshima where modern art mingles with nature! To understand Japan's history, you spend some time in Hiroshima where you can visit the Atomic Bomb Dome, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and take a day trip to Miyajima, home to the archipelago's most beautiful Torii.

As you make your way to Osaka, stop at Himeji to visit its UNESCO-listed castle and take a walk on Mount Shosha to see a rarely-visited Buddhist complex more than a thousand years old.
